This was one of our two excursions to see the rest of the Island of Providenciales. Here I am at the ruins of an old plantation. Olive is back at Camp Sesame playing in the pool or crying or biting small boys.

We haven't seen Sam or Yoojin for ages, since they had their second child. SO we all decided to go upstate to pick some apples and pumpkins before the season ended. It was a great day. Here Olive has just woken up from a nap on the drive up. Sam's holding her.

Today is Olive's first birthday! She woke up very early, as if she knew and wanted to open her gifts. Thanks to everyone for the thoughtful presents. Here she is in her PJs with her new piano from her parents and a cute birthday tierra from Grand Auntie Louise. On Sunday we will be at the zoo for her party and will post more pics then.

First Ear Infection

After a week of having a bad cold, Olive's fever started to rise and she started pulling on her right ear. Last night she threw up too. So we took her to the pediatrician today and, yup, she has an ear infection. Amoxicillin and bed rest are the cure. This is a picture of Olive sweetly sleeping in Mom's arms at the doctor's office this morning.
