Pumpkin Picker

Olive chooses her pumpkin for Halloween, but she won't let go of her apple. It will be fully eaten by the time we leave.

I really love this photo: the apple tree with kids playing in the background, Olive's far-off look as she bites into her first fresh-picked apple. Maybe it's just me, but I dig it.

Olive and Sam

We haven't seen Sam or Yoojin for ages, since they had their second child. SO we all decided to go upstate to pick some apples and pumpkins before the season ended. It was a great day. Here Olive has just woken up from a nap on the drive up. Sam's holding her.

Not camera shy

We bought a cheap new camera earlier this month after I lost my great Cannon Rebel EOS. Our first picture was, of course Olive, who seems to know when she's having her picture taken.
